Next year, I'm driving my ordinary little car from Cornwall to Cape Town, hugging the Atlantic coast.

Let me be entirely upfront: I'm not an influencer. Right now, a T-Rex with amputated hands has more reach than me.

My content isn't polished, isn't made for an algorithm, and isn't dictated by a corporate machine. I'm happy to talk to big brands, I'm just not a yes woman.

I'm an ordinary woman driving an ordinary car on a rather extraordinary journey, showing that epic travel doesn't need an £80k overlanding rig. It just needs the will to do it, using whatever is sitting on the drive right now.

I'm going anyway, but I'd love a few brands along for the ride. There are two ways in:

Supporting partners. You send gear, I use it for real, every day, and you get honest photos, video and stories of how it holds up, yours to use.

Expedition Partners. You back the journey financially (with or without kit), and you get everything above plus a place on Geraldine herself. Those spots are limited, and they have to fit the story.

Kit that fits

Nothing flashy. Just things that earn their place in a small car.

• Cooking: stoves, gas, fridges

• Car care: filters, suspension, roof bars

• Storage: boxes, bags, anything that stops the boot becoming a skip

• Recovery: boards and the kit for when it all goes tits up

• Carry: a daypack for when Geraldine stays put

• Camera and power: the kit that tells the story
